Might want to take a look at this also http://www.gfb.com.au/products/blow-...ication-by-gfb Keeps the same solenoid but replaces the problematic diaphragm guts. Have heard only good things about it from the German Forum. There are distributers in europe for it also so do not have to order from down under.

jamie @ spttuning sells uprated springs. though these are more for higher boost/mapped ECUs they do work on standard 150/155 THPs. the string will hold boost better so pressure is not released to soon.

This is what I have, if you're after tssssss noises though, they won't suit you at all, quieter than stock. They seem to work very well however.

Have got a spring off Jamie, and not yet fitted. Must do. Have also got the "G" valve, of which the internals (with the upgraded spring) can replace the internals of the OEM, and is better quality.

The Rev G version is still prone to splitting however but less likely than the Rev C version fitted to most older TFSI's

The Rev D is made using a metal Piston which is less likely to fail though metal can wear too.

Gonna have a look this week at my standard valve to see if there are indications of wear like the ones shown on

From what i understand the failures usually occur staring round 20k miles
Fitting new G internals and spring this weekend as recommended by James- just on 17,000miles

By time it comes to fit the next one, will make it a Forge Recirc i think
