I recently reviewed the Spiderpodium as can be seen here, all well and good, apart from one slight glitch with the DS3 after the spider' was removed. The problem is that the arms on the tablet 'podium were slightly wider than the gaps between in the louvres so on removing the spider' I found that when inserting it I'd pushed the top hinge posts on the louvres backwards out of the 'cups' that they should sit into in the upper half of the vent frame.
The result is that the posts are only half engaged in the cups resulting in the swivel mechanism being stiff to operate and feeling a did dodgy.
I have tried getting hold of the vanes on the louvre segments with a pair of snipe nose pliers to pull them back into position but it when released the entire louvre assembly springs back to the ill fitting position.
So any suggestions? Best would be to get the entire assembly out and remount the louvres but it looks like that is a dashboard out operation so a bit beyond me!
