  • decat downpipe for THP?

I have seen Miltek make one, call me tight but 175quid for a downpipe is too expensive for me. Are there any other companies make a cheaper alternative that you guys have used ?

Is the exhaust louder in any way with no cat ?

    Cheers

I can do you a better deal than that
    White on red THP
Miltek exhaust with HKS highflow cat, Forge intercooler, hard pipe kit, induction kit, oil catch tank, , VAG BOV, Stage 3 SPT remap 217 BHP

I was hoping it wouldnt be any louder as you may remember mine is rather loud on full throttle... the exhaust is a custom mild steel by powerflow, think its 2.5"

        What kind of deal jamie??

Chris i dont have to worry about emissions come MOT time lol

Becuase isnt the point of the catalytic converter is to stay within emissions limits? and to remove it would fail those limits/ the MOT?

Dunno, for me Ragazzon was cheapest a year ago.

I was thinking of having a custom decat downpipe for my thp as well but I don't know if the 'check engine' warning will come up?
My local exhaust shop gave me an estimate of around 6-8 bhp gain do know if that's too optimistic
