  • Debadged and Calipers painted

I've been wanting to do these pretty much since i got the car but havnt had the chance, well until today!
i did the debadging first, My husband got some new oblitarate to review so we decided to use it to see how good it is at getting rid of glue as well as tar, we were both surprised and actually worked better than Tardis which is what we normally use, here are the pics:

Half the glue has gone. I hardly had to rub, it came off so easy!

Next I did the Calipers. The only paint I had was either gold spray paint or a tin of belle Ile blue (originally for touch ups!) I didn't think gold would look very good so went for the latter, here are the results

Thanks. They've grown on me, I wasn't too sure about them to start with but the more I look at them the more I like them. Yes I did paint them on the car, I wanted to take them off but the husband wouldn't help me and I wasn't too sure how to do it to be honest, it took ages because I used a really small brush to get into all the bits and then went over with a sponge to remove the brush marks!

Thanks, I think the back just looks a lot neater and cleaner being debadged.

It's the wheels I can't keep clean, I now know why most people go for the black ones!!

I've had a lot of compliments about the Calipers, I'm glad I went with the blue

Has anyone done their Brake calipers in White on a white ds3 with black alloys??

Am I mad to consider this or go Red ?
