How did you do it? Did you take it somewhere, if so where? Because I would really look into getting my dash matt orange.

Maybe just do the bonnet, roof and tailgate, or even one of them
Beauty of plastidip is it peels off if you no like
Reckon Only 1 can for the bonnet... maybe a bit more

Be quite good having gloss white/ matt white as a contrast

Yes. You clean the paintwork (I use meths to remove grease as its water based) and then just spray over
If you use one good coat it finishes smooth. If you wait for it to dry every 45mins and do another it has a leathery like effect

If you want it permanent you can spray a cellulose- think its gloss- over and then you cant remove it

As you surmised it's spray can plasti dip. Took the dash pieces off. They just pull off.

A friend of mine has a full spraying kit, which id prefer over rattle tins, may just ask him for a quote.. keeping the roof and wheels gloss black but rest of the body matt white

Well I've learnt something, I thought you had to spray an undercoat/primer for it to be permanent, didn't realise it was a final spray to set it permanently - glad I haven't experimented with it to date now

Without the topcoat the plastidip can be peeled of just like a thin rubber coating
the clearcoat (Varnish) applied when the plastidip is cured cements the rubber coating as if it were a quick setting glue

Looks better without the clearcoat, and very easily removable. Marvellous product, won many awards
