Wrapping Steering wheel

Thinking off wrapping the silver bit of my steering wheel, anyone on here done this. I am between getting 4d carbon fibre wrap or just gloss black wrap, i have a dsport plus so im worried that the carbon fibre wrap will look nothing like the carbon fibre effect on the dash. If anyone has done this and has pictures would appreciate it .

I think you'd need to get it hydro-dipped to get it looking like the carbon effect dash.

You are right it will look nothing like the dash. If you get it hydro dipped the two will match up a lot better.

Hmm think i will just wrap it gloss black like the centre console then, dont fancy taking the steering wheel off to get it hydro dipped and then not havin a car for however long it takes them to do the job.

Do not need to take the wheel off. The trim will come off with the wheel still on.

The steering wheel pictured there was an extra one I had laying around that's why it is not installed.
