  • good price? and review?

Hello ive been in touch with rmc tuning through facebook who arent too far from me. Ive been quoted 400/475 for a remap and dpf delete with rolling road afterwards and with expected gains from just the remap of 35bhp. And the price is dependant if it can be remapped via the obd port or not. Does anyone know of this company and is this price reasonable or too cheap? Or expensive?

I take it you are aware that from February this year your car will fail a roadside check and MOT with the DPF removed?

The interesting part of this is how will they tell if the DPF has been removed?

A quick look underneath should be all that's needed.

February 2014 this came into action. If you leave the casing and just remove the internals the chances of them noticing is slim.

True, depends on how well the job was done. Besides this is all hypothetical as removing the DFP is illegal according to current law.

True lol. Are there any real advantages to removing it? Keep it good and clear and it shouldn't cause any costly bother? The effect on performance and MPG I wouldn't imagine would be justifiable if you've to get a new one fitted after an MOT failure?
