Remaps..

This is probanly a topic for jamie but any input is welcome..

The iner child in me has always been stronger than my common sence.. so when cars pop bang and putnout a little flame on over run it makes me grin from ear to ear... so my question is... is it posible to get this affect with a remap??? Is it going damage anything or ruin my engines life span??

I know exactly what you mean mate!

There is a remap which is actually made to do just this -- its called crackle map.

Obviously its mainly aimed at bikes but they do loads for cars too, only this is because the DS3 is really hard (at the moment) to remap - it can't be done the traditional OBD2 way, i doubt they can do it on our beloved DS3's at the moment.

Also word of warning if you do ever get one, your car will destroy mufflers quite frequently lol.

Just get an open exhaust system: decat! That will do the trick for popping and banging.

That was plans after warranty.. gotnit popping well on up shiftug with a little blip of throttle on each up shift normaly lets out a nice crack will have to try and video it later
