    Hello

Could those of you who have lowered your car on springs, post up pics of standard height and lowered heights please??

The reason i'm asking is, I have bought an Eibach pro kit, put the springs on and the rear looks higher! The drop quoted was 10mm rear and 25mm front. Front has dropped nicely.

Any advice?? I have heard of a settling period but after 4 weeks I would of thought that was enough time?

    Thanks for your help

    P.S its a 110 Hdi - 61 plate

You think the settling period is longer than 4 weeks??

I have emailed Eibach for advice as well as the retailer i purchased from

Take it you did not do a center hub to fender lip measurement before you lowered it. Kind of hard to say what effect the springs have had without a starting point. 10 mm is not a lot with that big old gap the DS3 has and would be hard to tell visually. Shit I'm 45 down in the back and the gap still looks massive to me!

That's the reason I went coil over root . Remember 10mm is only just over 1/2 an inch. So you would really notice the drop anyways mines 65mm at front and 50 mm at rear now and I've still got very slight arch gap

Not sure on what the Eibach kit is OP used, but Jamie put mine in (Eibachs) and its dropped about 30mm all round, but the tyres account for a bit of that as the profile is 40 rather than the 45 standard profile tyres. As said, don't think a 10mm drop would even notice.

Bad enough bottoming out on a few of the larger speed bumps round here (And we have a lot) so wouldn't want any lower personally.
Handling when driving quick is much better BTW, but a stiffer drive that's for sure

Sorry Mark... An inch is 25mm, so 10mm is under 1/2 an inch.
