My old rims were plasti dipped. A couple of bits flaked over time but nothing too visible and to be expected considering how close they were to the elements.

on a previous car i plastidipped my rims wand did not apply enough layers took me, no joke a week to get it off, just keep putting it on or you will go crazy when it comes to removing it, i did
get a bit of overspray on the cars body but it wipes of with a microfibre and a good lubricant :P also the plastids tutorials on tube are awesome, i once did my bonnet and it was actually too hot outside, in england i know, it was so so hot it made the dip dry patchy, then i applied it again it was too cold and dried crumbly at basically no wind and normal weather and many coats your fine, I'm considering doing the whole car but really can't be bothered aha maybe if i can find a colour worth doing it i will, maybe green or orange and keep the hood black
        THEO D

Do it in a garage but put the doors up, you need the airflow

So plastidip will stay on pretty nice? Going to try it myself next weekend.
