  • Vti 120 remap?

As far as I was aware a remap on the vti 120 gave not alot in gains, however when researching online I came across this, not sure how much truth there is to it however. Anyone had any experience with this company or this remap? Thanks

Depends what the map looks like, when do those power gains come in? Anyone can give a huge peak with all the power in the top revs but that's not very drivable, you can get caught on the back foot and will always have to be on it to reap the rewards, fine for a track car but in the road it's different

Also speak to Jamie at SPTuning he's a top lad, did a great job on my THP personally the best guy around, he will give you a drivable remap perfect for the roads

Not worth the money to get the naturally aspirated 120 remaped.

I've never done one, I'm sure we can get a small torque gain low to mid range, as for Hp....3-5% maybe.
          Won't know till we try....

Tune better by buying an exhaust
Same performance increase and a better sound

Think i'll look into exhuasts and an induction kit then possibly a remap to make use of it, thanks guys

Depending on the exhaust, a far costlier option than a remap.

I only know the prices in Germany: 800€ for a Bastuck Exhaust, 700 to 800€ for a Remap

Replacing the Catalytic converter only, could get you some appreciative gain
                        Bout 9 BHP on mine

Bigger Exhaust only gained me 3 BHP

Still not enough return for the money spent.

Someone on here picked up a 200 cell catalytic converter specifically for his DS3 for £90 a while back
