Seems after 800miles the BOV Rubber rings have melted quite well lol

Forge BOV? With the engraving? Are the O Rings in good condition?

Could someone please measure the sizes of the original O-Rings so that I can buy some heat resistant ones, I can't measure mine they're fried pretty well

Was yours a Forge one Broda ? Not seen that heating of the rings before

I would contact Forge directly. In my experience they have always been absolutely super about responding to problems with their products.

Yeah it's a forge product, bit odd isn't it, going to get some silicon o-rings, hopefully they can withstand the heat

First time I've seen an issue like this. As Cyclone said though, message Forge and they'll likely send you out replacements and may want your frazzled seals back for testing.

I'm not sure how the original seals could be removed, they look like they changed to a liquid

Thought it was an odd one worth sharing

If anyone else needs any in future they are 20mm and 40mm costing me about £6 for 10 of each both Vitons a constant 200oC, let's see how well it works!
