Mmm NO. The HK 416 is more like an M4 with the short stroke gas piston derived from the G36 than an actual G36. HK even sell a 416 conversion kit for the M4 that replaces the M4's the upper receiver with the HK416 receiver, turning the m4 into a k416 hybrid, (My brother had an AR 15 that was so converted, it was sweet set up)
