  • Sachs Clutch and Cat now Fitted

Back up to Jamie at SP Tuning yesterday for the Milltech Cat and Sachs clutch to be fitted, whilst the Cat has possibly added another 10bhp to the 190 I already had, the power deliver change is as noticeable as when it was first mapped. Lots of off boost grunt and when the turbo does spool up the car literally takes off.

I left an eager to show off if ultimately slightly embarrassed Audi TT TFSI driver through two 2nd gear exit roundabouts. For the first time I can hear the turbo wind its up in 2nd, maybe too much road noise in 3rd but its now audible when the car is pushed.

    Very enjoyable trip home

For me yes, for somebody else maybe not, way too many factors come into it really. If cars are your thing and you can afford it then yes, if cars are not really your thing and you can afford it then probably yes.

Well I needed a new clutch and if an OEM one was only going to last the same amount of time then getting an uprated clutch will be worth it.

The OEM exhaust was on its way out in the not to distant future and as ive decided to keep the car I think its worth spending the money on a better one.
