So I've ordered the official footrest part (9646H1) and the ebay page did mention it was for RHD but it doesn't quite fit.
See image, this seems to be the best position for it but it does hang over the edge a bit at the bottom of the foo:
It's not the best position for a foot rest but it will do, as reading online a lot of people have had their carpet worn here which doesn't seem to be covered by warranty so I want to avoid that.
Anyway, providing this is the best position for it. I can feel a slight foamy bit underneath through the carpet, people have said that they literally grab a screwdriver and screw through the carpet into the foam block to secure it. Would secure it enough?
