  • Plasti Dipped my badges.

    Hi guys!

First post all the way from South Africa.

So I decided to Plasti Dip my badges and the chrome strip above the plate the other day. You'll see that I also removed the "Citroen" lettering.

I did five coats with approximately 10-15 minutes of drying time between each coat.

You'll notice that I also used the Plasti Dip Smoke on my tail lights.

I dipped the badge at the front as well (car is dirty at the moment).

Then finally I removed the "3" at the back as well.

They look great- you can buy all the DS3 badges in black plastic online- bout a tenner for the rear boot i think
Easier than plastidip, and less messy

              What cyclone said.

Wasn't aware that Plasti Dip had the "Smoke" product, so I gave it a go!

I've toyed with idea of plastidipping my badges white as I have an Ice special edition, chequer board roof and storm grey paint.

Thinking that white might look too cheap though compared to chrome.

I'm not a fan of chrome, but it's up to you mate! Go for it!

If it doesn't look good you can remove it and you're back to chrome again.
