    Welcome to the club

A remap from Jamie at SP Tuning is one of the most popular mods, around 190BHP with minimal supporting mods.

It all depends on budget and how much you're willing to modify.

There's plenty of THP's out there pushing way over 200BHP. I had mine at 211 before it's life ended but that had a number of changes.

If you could give us an idea of how much you're looking/able to spend and the sort of mod's you're looking for we'll be able to advise better.

There's modifications such as wind deflectors, bonnet struts, all the way up to custom turbo's, induction kits, etc...

well im still a student so relatively cheap, a remap, induction kit and cat back exhaust is what i was thinking first off, would probably look to make suspension changes shortly after

Remap will be the suggestion most people offer. Standard increase is around an additional 35+HP with a bootload of torque.

If it's something you're seriously considering then drop Jamie over at SP Tuning a quick message - Jamie's very knowledgeble in his field and was one of the first mappers to modify the DS3 in the UK so knows them inside and out.

If you have a chat with him about induction kits and exhaust he may be able to hook you up too

For induction kits, you'll be looking at Forge or GSR. Exhausts are personal preference, there's a lot of companies who make these specifically for the DS range but you'll probably find yourself saving more cash if you contact a few custom exhaust fabricators.

ok brilliant thanks! being young i quite like the noise so was thinking maybe a remus exhaust but i've heard some really good things about EMP performance so i might see what they can do! thanks for the help!

You don't need to spend a lot of money for a good quality sound

This is mine, it was custom fabricated by the guys over at pro-speed in Cardiff:
