You should be asking yourself a few questions first, why do you think you need a magnetic sump plug ?

Here's a couple of reasons you shouldn't and don't need a magnetic sump plug.

The engine oil filter will capture all suspended particles from the engine oil, any particles which pass through the engine oil filter, are small enough (microns) to not cause any issue to any bearing surface within the engine.

If your engine is creating metal particles, that attach themselves to a magnetic sump plug, before they are filtered out by the engine oil filter, then you have a serious problem with your engine, resulting from lubrication failure.

But at least I would know when to be worried. Tend to drive my cars quite hard and change oil every 2 months due to high mileage, have always used them as a precaution, especially on bikes.

As I've already explained, they are not necessary, otherwise, why have an oil filtration system in the first place ?

Here's a little more information for you, are you aware, that the engines bearing and working free tolerance is engineered to the specific oil chosen by each individual engine manufacturer and oil manufacturer/supplier.
