So just for a giggle I bought a couple of the chinese LED sets from Amazon H7 and H1 versions...simple and easy enough to swap back if they were crap.
Holy cow what a difference!! Similar kind of light output on the H7's, but jeez the full beam H1's are awesome! I might need to supplement them with some small LED bars for the real dark, middle of forest, type driving...but wow.
The colour is also a lot better too.
Some snaps of comparison...I had to change the sidelight bulbs to LED afterwards to stop them feeling inferior too!
About 140 quid all in.
