Granted,I once answered SFG`S question on bulbs,mine were Ring and he wanted to know about Osram and Phillips,sometimes we like to chip in but we don`t necessarily answer the question!

However i was wanting a response from a few people who know for a fact that it is possible

and there was no reason discussed on why it would be possible to swap. Do a bit of reading before you start to preach. it was a bunch of BS of how i should have went for a different model, not helpful AT ALL!

Asking a question on a forum would be no different from sticking your head in a room full of people and asking it. You are going to get all kinds of things in reply. This is in fact the essence of a forum, promoting conversation. And just like any multi person conversation it will go back and forth meandering in unexpected directions. Sometimes returning to the point sometimes not. It would be an sad boring world if it was all yes no end of story

That i do not mind, in fact that is what makes forums great, people being helpful and having suggestions.

However when people are posting just for the sake of a post count and adding nothing of value then what is the point?

I just read all this and what a laugh

anything is possible with time and money

would the money you spend obtaining and fitting a 6 speed be reclaimed with better MPG maybe but over how long

If you were going to race it and wanted different ratio's possibly fair enough but just used to commute and play about in is it really worth all the agg

Doubt it save your pennies and buy a DS3 with a 6 speed fitted
