Extending the camber arms (adjustable) to allow such camber, will load up the stub axle bearings in the way the bearings were not designed for such unnatural loadings, through the fulcrum radi movement of the suspension travel.

Yeah but if he changes it back to normal, will he be as happy with it?

Get into the Car scene man they are designed to run that way without any extra load any ways it's static solid at the rear suspension it doesn't move up or down

He might not be happy, he might live longer tho !!

I'm fully aware of the car scene, it still doesn't make this modification any safer, and if all suspension travel at the rear has been locked solid, this is incredibly dangerous to handling (safety) and the stress loadings transmitted through otherwise non stressed components will see premature wear and failure, on a serious note, I'm all for modifications, however, the safety of the driver/ passengers and other road users must be paramount !!

I guess stance is considered a high priority over the priority of the life's of the driver/passenger/s and other road users, what fun, in my 32 years of working in the Motorsport/Racing industry, I've seen, heard and read of countless tragic accidents and loss of life, from improper modifications, and more than any other cause of fatal accidents, are from very poor or badly setup suspension geometries and poor tyre choice.

These kind of setups are an inevitable accident awaiting to happen, it may not be your lad, relative or indeed friend, but one day it will be someone's son or daughter !!

Enjoy such setups in a safe way, put it on a trailer.

Very good, then he should be more aware of the aspects of suspension geometry and more so on the load and shear stresses, we could discuss this all day, it still doesn't make it safe, and nor will it.

The main people that matter when it comes to safety apart from the occupants are the DVSA! I wouldn`t argue with them!
