Ds3 Diesel engine mods /general mods

Does anyone recommend and mods for the engine/engine bay for the 1.6 diesel
Or just general mods as bought the turbo pipes and realised there for the petrol

Which do you have? Ehdi 90 or 110? If it's the 90:
110 injectors
VNT turbo
Remap
FMIC
Catch can or elephant mod
DPF delete

Yeah it's the 90 I have e-hdi

I would go for:
- upgrade airfilter; drop-in filter from K&N, green or pipercross or go for an open airfilter system from GSR or Forge
- fit a M-tech short shifter, wont give you gain in power but will improve shifting
- optional you can fit a front mounted intercooler from Airtec of Forge
- Remap your ECU

This will give you a nice gain to 125bhp(estimation)
If you want even more power:
- upgrade turbo(hybrid)
- upgrade injectors(from the 110 hdi)
- remove dpf

Nope, it's all down to how you have it mapped.

I've read online with different tuning you can make the engine run leaner, and will produce less smoke. But Google is my only friend here

Thanks Joni - I never knew that, guessing Zack didn't either ? Or maybe he wanted the full power map so wasn't bothered ?
