  • Chrome rubbing side strips

I'm due to pick up my DStyle on Wednesday (which I'm really looking forward to). As it was dealer stock I didn't get any say on the options and it doesn't have the chrome strips. Does anyone have any idea on cost as an after sale accessory? I'm not sure that it will look good in chrome with my colour combo (Manitoba grey/carmen red) but I'm thinking of having it sprayed carmen red before fitting.

What? £60 just to fit the chrome side strips?

        You've been had.

It must be that special unicorn-horn glue that they use - it's damned expensive.

was looking at a DSport , white with black roof but I don't like all the chrome myself! In fact think it would look better with coordinated black grille and rubbing strips. Anybody got any pics with the rubbing strips removed???
