    I was wondering if anybody knows if I can fit an intercooler from another car manufacturer to my citroen ds3 thp with out removing/altering the front crash bar?
    I've heard some rumors about being able to fit a seat leon turbo intercooler / Peugeot 207 gti intercooler on a ds3 thp?
    (forge is too expensive for me)

    Howsit I fitted a universal one and it works perfectly

      The Seat Ibiza Cupra Intercooler is a common upgrade for the 207 THP, and as the 207 and the DS3 are brothers the Cupra would be a good upgrade for the DS3 as well

          The standard intercooler wasn’t efficient at all, As mentioned earlier after the first dyno run the intake air temperature was 69 degrees. With the new Airtec fitted it was time to hit the dyno again. there was a 10bhp increase in power and after 4 runs there was still no drop in power. The IAT of just 9 degrees, a drop of 60 degrees.


          A somewhat interesting set of numbers, I have just one question for now, what was the ambient air temperature on the day of the test ?

              I didnt think changing the intercooler increased power, rather that a more efficient intercooler minimised any loss in power due to temps

                Could be that the temperature was to high at the first run with the stock intercooler

                    From the pics on your blog IMO the dyno cells insufficient cooling is influencing your results big time, unless it was a sunny 40 deg C outside.
                    White on red THP
                    Miltek exhaust with HKS highflow cat, Forge intercooler, hard pipe kit, induction kit, oil catch tank, , VAG BOV, Stage 3 SPT remap 217 BHP

                      the fan is amazing, the picture shows the exit of it. The unit it's self is on the other side of the wall. Think of it like an air con unit in pubs, but with a massive fan

                        I don't see nothing like those temps, my THP don't get half as hot as that.
