  • Thp remap

Hi all, new to the forum, my names Aaron.

Couldn't find any posts on this but have recently bought a thp 150 and am considering a remap.
Have seen a site from flash remapping.co.uk which I'm sure are based up north. ( I'm near London)
    Claiming power of around 200.
    Main questions are.
-Can the car take the power increase? eg.clutch etc.
-is my 3year warranty still valid.
-is anyone able to tell its been remapped after it's been done?
    -any advice on doing this.
I want the same reliability and mpg.

    Thanks in advance.
    Loving this car.

It will void the warranty, most of us wait till the warranty has expired.
It's possible that it can be detected but it isn't that easy.
Most of us on here go to see Jamie at SP Tuning. He is a trader on here.

The cars 4years old, it's a warranty I've purchased with the dealer I bought it off but I assume it will void that also.
      Thanks for the quick reply.

Spoke to them today, very helpful, basically explained about the valve cleaning which will gain me a lot of power, or should I say reclaim lost power, and the stage one remap. May well organise the remap and dyno, see if I need the clean too.
            Thanks all.
Has anyone experienced clutch slip due to the extra power?

IIRC, clutch slip only occurs on the THP when you get above 200 BHP.

                  Thp remap

For 200hp it could do with high flow cat or decat.

Don't go with FlashRemapping, they used to trade on this forum and are a reseller for Viezu. Get the car to Jamie @ SP instead.

Plan is to get remap and dyno which Jamie explains will show if valves need doing, then have walnut blast at a later date when funds allow, I'm sure I'll need it as it has all the symptoms of carbon valves from reading posts on this forum.
Jamie has either paid you all off or is really good
