  • Forge intercooler being left on the shelf help...

Its about time to look for an intercooler ( just before Cyprus summer)
A local forge dealer has a forge intercooler for the Peugeot 207GT sitting on the shelf for about 3 years now. He ordered it brand new but never got to sell it.
He can give it to me at a very good price

My first question is the obvious...can this intercooler fit my ds3 thp with out having to cut the front bumper or the crash bar?

My other question is if its safe to buy an intercooler that's being sitting on the shelf for 3 years.., will it work fine? and in case it doesn't work for some reason will I get a 'check engine' warning?

Want to say you have to cut the bar but I do not remember exactly where I heard that so not 100% on it. There are not exactly the same under the bumper so likely some kind of fitting would have to be done.

As to the other question it will be fine it's just a piece of metal, look it over to make sure it is in good shape no dents, cracks, corrosion, etc. You will not get a check engine light.

I don't know about the forge but I know with the Airtec nothing needs cut. You simple take out 2 screws and a bit of plastic.
I make cars go quicker then take photos of them.

If i know the dimensions of the intercooler i can also look for universal ones in my country.. I can save the shipping cost and save some money for an induction
