DS3 2016 165BHP Remap available??

Hi guys,

New to the forum but just have a quick few questions.

Does anybody know if there is a map available for the new DS3 165BHP? I am keen to get my car remapped and cant find anywhere that does the remap for the new model engine. If anyone has the DS3 165 and has a remap can you tell me where you got it from?

If not a remap then even a tuning box would be good for the moment.

If its not out, does anyone know when its getting released?

I'd call Jamie (forum member) at SP Tuning for advice on this. He owns the business mentioned and has mapped a lot of our DS3s

How did you get on?

Depending on where you are based, we could always do some development.

I spoke to Jamie and he informed me there wasn't one released however there should be one in the next couple of months. However I spoke to a place called Angel Tuning who have told me that they can remap it for me. I am going down there next Thursday. I'll let you know what happens.

I'd be certain they're applying a map for the correct engine, if it's a newer model you have I can't imagine they'd of had too many through the door.

Unless they're using yours for a benchmark in which case I imagine it will be going on the dyno a fair whack?

Yeah as Liam said, it would make me nervous if I didn't have confirmation that it's definitely for your car

There's also the concern about driving to the centre only for them to realise they can't map the car via OBD if they'd planned to.

Got there before me Yes, i wouldnt want my THP engine used as a guinea pig if thats what they are do9ing.

Yeah that was something I was worried about. I did ask them to confirm that they can map my engine and they seemed very confident they could although I'm still doubting it... Expecting to arrive there and be told that they can't map it. I think I'll listen to you guys and give it a miss then. I'll wait for Jamie to release one. Is that the guy you would all recommend?

Jamie has mapped many many vehicles owned by forum members, also he has fitted numerous after market parts, for me id rather go with that reputation than an unknown entity.
