  • Lowered Supsension

    Hi guys,

Been thinking about lowering my DS3 for a while now. Just a few questions:

    - Does anyone reccomend some springs? Looking for better handling but don't want to feel every bump in the road. Also not looking to spend ridiculous money.

    - Has anyone done it and got any pics?

    - Would you reccomend it or not?

    - How much lower would you go to keep some comfort?

    Thanks guys.

    James

I think 30mm - 40mm is the normal drop people do with springs. Depends on the car. If it's diesel don't go for a big drop on the front unless you want to scrape everything.

You'll get the handling but you will feel more bumps because the springs are stiffer.

Unless you spend a fortune on colliers

Cheapest you can get springs for is £90-100

I have a petrol 165bhp. Don't want it to scrap the floor at all. Just want it sitting lower. Have you had it done to yours? It's the ride a lot tougher?

How much did the ride suffer going down 35mm? How much were they? Does it handle a lot better now?

Sorry about all the questions. Thanks for the pic.

Does anyone have a link to the H & R springs 35mm that fit the DS3? Can't seem to find them anywhere online?

                Thanks
