Number plate lights

Hi guys,

I want to change the number plate lights, I've been reading up on it and seen that they are quite flimsy and break easily.

Has anyone done it to theirs and have a particular technique to doing it? Don't want to give it a go and end up breaking them all together!

If you want to just change the bulbs, what I've done is pry the entire fixture off with a screwdriver. I mean the entire black housing so pry it gently from the end until you have it hanging by the wires. Now you have more room to get the translucent part off and then the bulb. You may have to bend the bulb contacts in a little bit before fitting a new one to make it more snug.

Also,don`t forget to hold the bulb or LED using a pair of disposable gloves otherwise there is a risk of shorter bulb life or bulb not working at all if you touch it with your fingers!
