  • Wheel upgrade info

I am looking to upgrade the standard 16" alloys on my DS3 DSTYLE TO A SET OF 17" BELLONE alloys.

Question... will the bigger wheels make a difference to the speedo reading and will my existing wheel nuts
be ok or do i need a replacement set.

    Thanks in anticipation...

As long as you use the correct profile of tyre then no, the speedo with be fine. As for the bolts I'm pretty sure those will be fine as well.

If you use a 205/45 or 215/40 Tyre you will be ok

I find that with bellones and brand new 205/45 tyres the speedo error is about 3 km/h i.e. when the meter shows 100, GPS speed is 97. So a slight change in the circumference will make a difference. Make sure you don't get tyres so that you get a + error. For my winter tyres 195/55/16" the error is almost 1 km/h more.
