has anyone used ebc greenstuff brake pads on a ds3r? I was recommended these and they are nearly half the price of the standard pads from citroen

Yes, EBC green stuff pads are ok, Yellow are better for biting point and slightly firmer feel, although soon to be trying the fredo ds2000 series pads (check spelling, might be 3000 series also; will say in the thread linked above). These come as a v.high recommendation to me

decided to go for pagid pads, they were £40 rather than £120 for the ebc ones and £200 for the crap citroen put on. first impressions I could not be happier there much quieter than the standard pads and and almost silent when cold. also on a side note citroen told me mine were 90% worn and needed changing (£300 they wanted to do it), my mate changed them and said they were only 50% worn!!

I am also thinking about brake pads upgrade
I am between ebc greenstuff and ferodo
I am only using my car for street use so i want something that is quiet and doesnot need a lot of warm up
How is the stopping power of greenstuff compared to stock pads?

Ive never heard any (properly functioning) brakes make a noise that is any louder or not than another make/model.
Warming up brakes?????????
Stopping power is better yes, and they last way longer than OEM so are most cost effective.sigpic
