Feedback for Zunsport needed - new product

Hi guys,

Our good friends at Zunsport are looking into the possibility of putting the Grill Mark A had made into full production and have asked us if we get some feedback and thoughts from DS3 owners.

They have been receiving a number of enquiries from overseas for the “ Custom Build “ DS3 grille.

And they would appreciate our thoughts / comments if they produce as a production item would you have any interest?

Price is NOT confirmed yet, but it may be either side of £170

I'll be posting this on social media also to get the most amount of coverage and views as possible.

When i saw it, thought it was really good, and would hope to get one for any DS3 that i get next year

So long as it doesnt restrict the airflow that much, for the intercooler and radiator, so mesh size may have to be played with
Where does the number plate go- can it be put on the bonnet or is that a no-no? Not into legal registration placements

Maybe both matt and gloss, cant see silver being that popular, maybe gun metal

And if its easy to fit with a few strong clips- I'd buy one

I like it. It really makes a huge difference to the look of the front of the car.My only concerns would be.Number plate mounting,as Chris said and also cost.

I don't think there are any rules about placement, you can get plates made up in sticker form anyway to stick to your bodywork.

Personally I would just fix with cable ties and remove for shows.

my issue is that i can still see the numberplate recess behind the grille. i don't like that. looks more like a security measure rather than a style upgrade (obvs it's not a performance upgrade)

This is what I'm not sure about- i know older cars like the e-type jag can have stickers on the curved bonnet, but not sure about new cars
They may have to be placed in a particular position for easier reading

Doubt would use stickers, maybe even magnetic...

If in doubt, pop down to the police station and ask a traffic officer to zap it with an ANPR cam. As long as that can read it, can't see an issue with placement or material.

You're not going to find an officer in your local station to just zap it with a camera

I just about have one still. Lost the ambulances though, nearest hub now is 14 miles away along some horrendously traffic-prone roads. Response times went from a few minutes to nearly half an hour

Any more thoughts to add before I send onto Zunsport?
