Has anyone done this and how simple is it? Or just a case of having the right tools?

Few people have done this, sounds pretty straight forward, you just need the right size grommet to fill the hole IIRC.

I've removed mine, its pretty straight forward and self explanatory.
The hardest part was actually removing the wiper arm.
Luckily I borrowed a gear puller from work and it popped the wiper arm right of.
A 30mm plug was needed to bung the hole.
I couldn't find one anywhere, so made my own flush fitting plug.

I removed my rear wiper from my Clio and it was easy
Remove the trim, a few spanners and pull wipe off
I can hope (also sent them a message)
I have a Yellow Ds3 myself.
