Almost time for a remap, induction kit or panel filter for Hdi 90?

My warranty expires in September, and i fancy a bit more oomph, so i'm planning a remap in the same month.

Is it worth fitting a better air filter to make the most of it as another £40 for a K&N replacement panel won't break the bank. Or is it really worth getting a full induction kit? particularly when £200 for a pipe and cone filter seems a bit steep.

I think the GSR induction kit really just makes it louder and has slightly better throttle response. For the sake of a few horses, it's probably just as viable to go with the K&N.

My warranty expires in a few weeks and I'm gonna be going with a K&N panel filter in my boot when I pay Jamie a visit, just to add an extra horse or two.

Is that Jamie at SP Tuning in Hinckley? I only live down the road in Tamworth so that's where i plan on going as I've heard good things.

Did he recommend the K&N filter, or did you just fancy getting one?

Yeah Jamie@SPTuning. DS3 Club remap and walnut blasting Jedi. I'm up in Preston, so it's a long trek for me, but will be worth it. As for the K&N panel filter, that's just my personal choice, as there are pros and cons for all different makes and types.
