Just ask a mate to use their drive

Lightbulb moment. I need to get my alloy redone anyway and while he's doing them I can paint the calipers- happy days

just looking to paint mine, is it really as easy as the youtube video suggests?

with the Halfords paint do you need any Primer or coat on top of the spray paint?

i really cant decide whether go for Red or Black?

Yes Sy- that easy. Wheel off, clean with meths and stiff brush, heat resistant paint straight on (Gloss- matt looks dull)
        Heatproof decall of your choice
        RED paint
Lovely... then clean every month Ha!

I bought the eTech kit and that contained all I needed, as it's a faff removing wheels and waiting for calipers to dry I didn't want to risk Halfords paint/kit

When you paint, you can put the wheel back and it wont touch the calipers (Obvs lol)
Just dont drive the car immediately
The specific caliper heat paint i got from ebay, took about an hour to fully dry, 10 minutes touch dry
Still left the car overnight tho.
Get very small artists poaintbrush as well as a half inch one, so you dont paint everything :-)

^ Yep agreed, I did the same as you Chris, hazy recollection is that the instructions talked about leaving the wheels off but as we found you don't need to do that as long as you refit them carefully.

Brake caliper painting is a popular automotive customization trend that not only enhances a vehicle's aesthetic appeal but also protects the calipers from corrosion. I suggest you check painters and decorators London and learn more interesting things about the best paint. This process involves cleaning, sanding, and applying high-temperature paint to the calipers. With a wide range of color options available, enthusiasts can achieve a personalized look for their vehicles while ensuring the longevity of their brake components.
