Anyone installed the MTC induction kit? If so was there a decent sound increase also what is the difference between the forge one and this as the price is nearly £100 I feel like it's £100 for the name they look identical

I have installed the MTC induction kit to my car and the noise is great! It is very loud and I can still hear the Phssssst over my Cobra exhaust

thanks for replying but unfortunately my car has sensors that need to all be connected to record how much air is flowing, i fitted the MTC one was all okay got about 2 mins down the road engine light comes on service light comes on and car is in limp mode, so for anyone with the 165THP S/S model you will have to wait for one made for the model. for now i have a forge blow off valve which will do until one is made

Out of curiosity (I have a thp150) what sensors?

The only one for the diesels is the GSR induction kit, I have it fitted and its awesome!! Google 'GSR induction kit HDI' or there is a thread on here too

I just installed the mtc induction on my ds3 thp.. I've ordered mine with an airbox that mtc sold separate if requested
It was very straight forward to fit apart from one hose that didn't fit on the induction so I had to come with some ideas but after connecting a bigger size hose it fitted fine
I drove the car for about 1 hour..i also have a stage 2 remap from Jamie..
There is a sweet noise from the induction ..not too loud
Also a find the car to be a lot more responsive in terms of performance from mid to high rpm you can really feel the power gains...I used to have an itg panel filter in the past...I can feel the difference in every gear with the mtc induction
Also didn't had any check engine light issue
Everything is fine ,.,really happy with it
