    Know Jamie has had a couple of cars in Friday and Saturday with airtec intercoolers on them and both had huge power drops around 4500 to 5000 rpm.

          It's still not arrived!!
          DS3 THP 155 - stage 2+ remap, milltek sports cat and non resonated exhaust system, airtec FM intercooler and alloy boost pipes, induction kit. Mtech short shifter, VAG recirculation valve with uprated alta spring, uprated hpfp, uprated spark plugs, uprated coil pack, VTA twin pcv to filtered catch can, uprated Sachs clutch, ebc brake pads and vented discs, LED interior lighting, rcz gearknob, Michelin pilot sport 4s, iridium spark plugs

                The R56 Mini turbo is not a direct bolt on fit. You’d need to modify your pipe work and fit a single pass intercooler.

                Miltek exhaust with HKS highflow cat, Forge intercooler, hard pipe kit, induction kit, oil catch tank, , VAG BOV, Stage 3 SPT remap 217 BHP

                  Lad I know gave them his 207 gti best part of 2 months for them to "develop" a 3rd version of intercooler and he still not got car back never mind their copy of an intercooler that also fits the thp set up actually fitted and tested!

                  Question is... a 3rd version!! If they can't get it rite 1st 2 times wtf are the doing!!

                    Yeah.. I'm fine with redoing the intercooler piping. It would be nice to have a lot more single pass intercoolers to choose from Would it also give me more upgrade turbos to choose from with the Mini style turbo outlet orientation?

                          The turbo itself will bolt on with same oil and coolant feeds, exhaust side is exactly the same so downpipe is same.. You just need to alter your boost pipe, easier shorter routing is by using single pass intercooler. If you already have Forge intake kit then you’ll probably need to change this also.

                            So JamieSPtuning do you think it is a good way project to go for a mini jcw r56 turbocharger like using a 208 gti turbo, cause it really is hard to get my hands on a 208 gti turbo so a mini jcw is easier to grab. what do you think about it performance wise

                              If I was use one from the R56 I’d make sure it was one from the JCW.

                                JamieSPT in your opinion and it is a bit off topic, being not a problem a new intercooler, in our stock engine and between a 207 rc turbo a ds3 r or 208gti turbo or a mini jcw what would be the best option in turbo upgrade in your opinion and what gains can we except from each setup?
