        vinyl wrap baguettes without removing?

Do you think it will be possible to vinyl wrap the baguettes with them still in the car, without removing? I don't feel like messing with the glue an all that, but they are tightly adhered to the car, not sure If you'll be able to bend the border behind the strip. Has anyone done it?

To de-chrome - immerse in Hydrocloric Acid, brick cleaning acid.
Dilute the acid first by adding acid to water 50% or more. 10 minutes, max. Should take you back to Nickel plate.
            Anyone offering Black baguettes ?

To get plastic your best bet is to plasti dip or wrap them if you wanted some black ones.

If the car has them on they come chrome as standard, and they are just stuck on.

Holy crap!! If I wanted to do this - which I don't (personal choice of course ), there is no way I'd resort to using acid, diluted or not!! A little extreme in my book, just use plasti-dip if you wanted black ones. Much easier and I would imagine safer!! Just my opinion

Meh I handle concentrated acids, alkalis, solvents etc. on a daily basis. Not much harm you can do with hydrochloric as long as you're sensible and wear safety goggles and rubber gloves, and a mask if it's fuming

Yeah I suppose with the right precautions it would be fine and as a Lab Tech. - Ben defo would be. Just not something I personally would attempt to do any kind of modifying to my car.
