  • K&N 57i - Thoughts?

Just been having a look at this:

    http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...?Prod=57A-6035

    http://www.knfilters.com/instructions/57A-6035_inst.pdf

Although listed for the Pug 207, looking at the .pdf instructions it all looks identical to my DS3R.

It appears that this one is a closed system and picks the air from the intake area in front of the windscreen.

Has anyone used one of these before?

Could be interesting when the car is covered with snow.....................

Yeah, I was thinking about that John, and also the risk of water etc? Not had a close look at that area, but I think the section it shows in the photo is normally covered by the bonnet.

I did have a standard 57i in my Saxo before, no cover for it though. It was only a 1.1 so no noticable power increase however it did sound a treat and I loved it for that

That looks nice, and will pick up nice cool air. You could probably finish off the intake underneath that grille with a nice anodised trumpet and good fittings.
