    Not really a mod but...

Has anyone used the Dynolicious iPhone App?

Apparently it can measure your BHP / 0-60 etc pretty accurately.

There's some videos on Youtube saying it works better than some specialist devices

Some people who have their iPhones/iPods jailbroken may obtain the app for free, I don't condone this though!

You can get a free Renault Sport app that does similar to that one I think.

That will have been a GPS app.

This app uses the accelerometer rather than satellites.

                Just browsing Youtube, looks promising.

Just had a look at that it seems to be pretty similar just without the pretty graphs + graphics.

I'll get them both tested when the car gets delivered

I've got the Renault one (called RenaultSport Monitor if you're looking for it) but never used it. Totally forgot I had it but I might give it a go tomorrow. It plays some awesome engine noise when you open it though!

                  From the app user manual:

"It has three functions: 1) Stopwatch: automatically records your lap times starting from your own reference point. 2) 0-100: automatically records your acceleration from 0 to 100kmh (0 to 62mph) or the time taken to drive 400m (1/4 mile) from a complete stop. 3) G-G: measurement of the G force recorded by your vehicle during your laps."

You can measure different acceleration points too apparently. 0-19, 0-31, 0-41, 0-62. Distance can be measured at 1/16, 1/8 or 1/4 mile.

Had the DS3 for a few months now & forgot about the Dynolicious app..

Gave it a test today.. I don't have a mount in the car and I just guestimated the cars weight so the figures are a bit off!

                    0-60 MPH: 7.56 sec

On this run I did change to third before hitting 60

Didn't hit 60 due to another car being there so had to slow down!
Both runs with traction control on.. so obviously not as quick as it could be.

                    Fancy graphs:

With an in-car mount (e.g. ones that stick to your windscreen/air vents), and properly calibrated.. I reckon this app could give some accurate readings
