HDi 110 Remapping progress?

Just being having a dig round the forums looking for a definitive answer to this with no joy.

How are things currently looking on the HDi 110 remapping? Is this still in the testing stage or has something being developed and if so, what improvements are we looking at? May be interested depending on price/detectability.
