Ds3 racing dash trim kit

Hey all,

Ive had a few emails on ds3 racing dash kits, Citroen have brought out kits you can get them in orange or in silver. What comes in the kit is both air vent covers the main center trim and the dial trim also it has the ds3 racing decal on it. Retails at £276.78 I can supply for £207.99 plus £10.00 postage. They also supply standard colour trim kits I just need to know if you have myway sat nav system fitted. Colour kits are around £171.60 I can supply for £129.99 plus £10.00 postage. I never understand why manufacturers do this! Why make a limited run car and then make the extra parts available, it dilutes the whole exclusivity of the car!

Land Rover many years ago bought out Tomb Raider limited edition 90's and 110's, you couldn't buy the limited parts such as the badges unless you supplied the VIN from the original vehicle.

I'd have one just to make a white /orange like the Jap cars not a racing. Mind you they had other cool colours too

I had a look on the Jap configurator, Thorium grey with orange roof and mirrors, very nice!!

yep loads of models (die cast ones) of the racing were in that colour but they never used it and it was great. Wonder why they didn't use it

Don't know, it did look great didn't it!

Mind you, some of the later press photos also look grey but they are Obsidian Black. It does have a kind of dark grey in the pearlescent paint in the right light.

The original DS3R pre-launch cars were grey/orange, and those cars featured in the early press coverage. A much nicer combo than the ones that actually went on sale, imo (although of course those are lovely too...)
