Does anyone know if its possible to fit a turbo boost control to the DS3?

As my DS is now running a hybrid turbo with bigger internals I would like the ability to vary the turbo boost when I need to. Anyone know if fitting a boost controller would have any effect or would the ECU override it?

To my understanding a boost controller works by supplying more air to the Turbo meaning it's going to be pushing out more air and thus pressure faster than it's meant to.

You can get them for the 207 GTi's so I can't see why you wouldn't be able to for the DSport..

Do some homework on it first Coops, you're risking an expensive fix as I'm sure you're aware if anything goes pop..

Thanks fish, I will be getting the guys are my local tuning shop to fit and then a few power runs to see what happens. As it has new bigger internals then it should be OK with slightly higher boost pressures. Will keep you all posted. BTW I saw in another post that you are running Iridium plugs in your car. What make are they?

Argh! Forgot about your PM! Sorry lol.

I've not changed the plugs currently as I'm running without the remap at the moment.

The iridium plugs however are the same parts as in the racing.

Have a look on the .eu site or try and dig out Dave/Hannah's post on them.

i use iridium plugs in my gsxr600 they seem smoother at idle and you get a smoother power delivery plus they burn more efficiently therefore burning every drop of fuel in the cylinder = more hp

Totally non stock exhaaust, 200 micron sports cat and a 2 1/2 inch straight through stainless custom cat back system.
