90 HDi Remapped... 126 Hp + 225 Lbft !

Hi Guys,

Had The Remap Done Yesterday By Jamie At SP Tuning In Burbage... www.sptuning.co.uk

Did A Few Runs First And The Average Was 93.4 BHP, He Also Done A Calibration Test And Found Out My DS3 Speedo Was Perfectly Calibrated ( Least There's Something On It That's Not Failed ! xD ).

Then He Set About Reprogramming The ECU - He Managed To Find A Preset Map From A German Buddy And He Then Altered That So He Was Really Quick And Only Took About An Hour Or So From Pulling The ECU Out To Re-fitting It.

Then He Did Some More Runs And The Average Was 126BHP xD

Car Feels Like A Totally Different Car Now And I'm Well Pleased With It ! Blasted It Down The M50 / M5 Yesterday And Hit Speeds That The Car Wouldn't Have Thought Of Seeing Before

Drove It Sensibly To Work This Morning And Economy Has Improved As I Can Pick Up Higher Speeds at Lower Revs And Therefore Use Higher Gears !

Great Day Out And Jamies A Great Guy With Superior Kit ( Dyno Dynmaics ) And Over 12 Years Of Tuning Knowledge ( How Else Do You Think He Managed To Crack The 110 ? ) - Highly Recommend Him To Anyone Thinking Of Getting This Done ! Check out His Website As He Offers Alot of Other Services Too...

Intercooler And Turbo Should Hopefully Be On Before Xmas Comes...

I wouldnt be able to either! I was thinking of having a new turbo myself when warrantee runs out, I've seen a german one that was posted on here but it was like £5000 witch is abit pricey for me lol would like one tho :-/

I want it! Sadly I am on the 3 year Citroen deal so pretty sure this would void my contract. I have seen the Blue fin/V-Switch boxes which allow you to easily switch between 2 maps and standard. Id be interested in this if it was available for my 90 Hdi. I am after performance and fuel savings.

If You Get A Remap They Won't Be Able To Detect It Unless They Actually Go Searching For It And Take The ECU Board Apart... ( They Wont ! )

The Boxes Are A Load Of Shit - Don't Bother Getting A Box...
