Personally I wouldn't care about the 1-2 BHP loss I think the car is very quick! ( probably because I've been driving diesel vans for 2 years ) lol
I really like the sound of it mate av heard it on YouTube n I really want one! Have you got the forged one ?

Hi Perry, yes the dump valve is designed for a turbocharged engine and is supposed to vent overpressure from the turbo when changing gear etc. If you want the pssst noise then there are actually kits out there which can mimic the sound if that's your thing. I think Demon Tweeks sell them.

They do a dump valve for the hdi as ive seen one on the net but it does not improve response or power at all.... its just for the sound...

It is £300 and it is electronically controlled - does not effect anything on the engine or power etc - purely for the noise.

They have never done a ds3 diesel and would need the car onsite in derby to do the fitting with a weeks lead time.

They have sound clips of a diesel as well ;-)
