Hey just a quick update the cars booked in for the 27th Jan and its for a Full system and Sports Cat at Long Life Chester, now I'm wondering with the Cat also being changed and the exhaust in general am I going to get a warning light or is that only if its de-catted? It's going to be 60mm bore stainless steel, sports cat, centre box removed aswell *not sure what it is but the guy there said its pointless it being on the car*? And a 3'5 single enrolled slashed exhaust tip so should sound nice and non chav xP

I'm calling bullshit that you actually get all the above done.

In case I'm wrong though I just want to clarify on all the things you'll be having done:
Custom turbo- £500?
Larger intercooler- £900?
Uprated clutch- £250?
Uprated flywheel- Not sure, let's guess low and say £100
Re-bored and forged internals - £1300 if not more
Suspension- £150
New alloys- Lets say £100 for a cheap set of shoes
New tyres- If you're looking for a decent set all around we'll say ~£150/200
Straight pipe with sports de-cat- £150?
Modified rear diffuser- £60?
Custom ECU- God only knows but that's not going to be cheap
Custom Remap- £500-600


In total you're looking at about £4500 to get it to even a moderately decent spec, you'll invalidate your warrenty and more than likely get laughed at if ever you take it in for service or an engine management light occurs.

Why not use that £4500 to just buy a DS3 with a bigger engine?

@ Dangerous Fish no disrespect by this by the way, i can't simply take the car to citroen and say I'll have a bigger engine please it'll be 3 years before I can get the chance to upgrade either. So I'm using what I've got . You don't know what money I have/dont have but I've money off my grandmother who passed away just before Christmas conning towards me some is being put away rest on car and gf, that's why my exhaust is getting done on 27th and I've been trying to look around for suspension and few other things aswell. But like I said I can't take the car back and just get a powerful one.
I know most people here have the diesels or THP 150 and Im stuck with na but I'm making do with what I've got .
No offence by the way so don't take it that way
