Hi im a newbie just had my sport for a week now ,just one question just found the esp button .do you leave this on all the time and without looking at the manual whats the button next to it for,when i prees it nothing seems to happen? and do you use esp in the snow if we get any cheers fellers.

Believe that other button disables the eco mode. That is the start stop function that turns the engine off when you stop.

The ESP, as mention above, is on all the time and the button is to disable it the system. On the THP model the ESP can be turned off entirely where on the other versions the ESP will turn back on at 28MPH automatically.

the other button is the alarm. dont pres it lol turns alarm off on dsport.

I think it disables the inside proximity sensors for the alarm, e.g. you wanna lock the dog/wife in the car, the alarm wont go off with movement inside the car. You need to hold that button for a few seconds and then lock the car

Yep the 'other' button (looks like a bell) is for the alarm. Don bother pressing it as when you want the alarm off (leaving dogs, kids in car) just lock the DS then unlock it and wait 30 seconds as the car will auto lock by it's self but without the alarm being on.
