Hi I’m new here. Got my DS3 in the end of December. I’m looking at a pedal box pro and was wondering is anyone has had any experience with them? I would get a Map put on but I’ve got kids and would be good to be able to switch the power off when it’s not really needed. Cheers!

Personally I'd get a remap from http://www.sptuning.co.uk/ Jamie is a forum member here and really knows his stuff. Not sure which diesel DS3 you have but mine went to just under 150bhp (was a 115 eHDi) and drove so much better.

With respect, the power isn't going to be an issue on the diesels, you won't need to turn it on and off

Yeah that’s fair enough. Also I’m wondering what the insurance company will do to me for getting it mapped. They seem to like shafting me for every penny at the best of times. They doubled my payments when I changed it over and my last car was more powerful? Managed to get something more sensible in the end.
I’ve got the 110 hdi. So looking at the website you’ve given me I’d be looking at 140bph.

Depends who you're with as to their stance on it. Best way to find out? Call them up before you commit and ask for a quote. Some insurers are definitely a lot more mod-friendly than others, and by the sounds of it, you'll want to change insurers at renewal anyway if they are screwing you over.

The 140bhp stated is a minimum value, Jamie can easily get up to 150 which is about as far as the engine will go without significant hardware changes - but this depends on the condition of the car at the time he gets it. An induction and exhaust beforehand will give you better throttle response and some more horses to be gained from the remap, and better midrange.
