  • xenon Effect for Older DS3

    Hi All

I'm abit of a fuss when it comes to the xenon look(love the look of 6500k) I was struggling to find something that would work, I left the yellow ones in for then. I went to a car meet and saw a old Coursa with what looked to be Xenon lights, Asked him where he got his from and how he fitted; he Send me a amazon link to these

on the drivers side is the yellow Halfords 130% and then the Novsight LED. I did have a new battery the other day and they have shown up as faulty on the centre computer but doesn't show up unless you go into that menu.

The lights are slightly dimmer then I had before but I've noticed that road signs are more lit up! They also fit extremely well with the rubber holder on the back of the lights!

I'm also not sure how legal theses lights are, they do look bright to look at but I haven't had anyone flash me, the beams do look correct but I'm not a MOT inspector!

A lot of people here recommend Osram Nightbreakers, usually bought from eBay (but make sure they're sold by Osram or a well known retailer like EuroCarParts, there are a lot of fakes around which can dazzle other road users and even catch fire)

Yeah I'm running on Osram Nightbreakers and they are excellent. Just as bright and white as those Novsights above and Osrams defo pass the MOT too

I have the MTEC Cosmos Blue in 55w and they look more hid than some hids! Illumination of road markings and signs is superb. And if I remember correctly only £17.99 a pair.
