Pops & Crackles

I hope you have all had great weeks.

So i was wondering, i have been wanting my ds3 dsport to pop and bang a little more. At the moment it will sort of pop under hard acceleration and changing gear, sort of like the DSG farts on a Clio RS.

What i want is i know a little boy racerish, but i would like more pops and a deeper sound.

I have a custom bespoke exhaust system fitted, i would still like to pass MOT, so any suggestions other than a decat is very appreciated.

Remove the backbox. The DSport has no centre silencer from factory, so get rid of all but the cat to increase noise and chances of pops. If you want to spend a bit more, can go with a high flow 200cpi cat, but with the new even more stringent MOT regs I wouldn't risk it.

It should do easily.... It's not like it'll be "excessive noise" at that stage. With a decat then yes it'll be noisy but I'm sure they only test up to 4000rpm anyway.
